Camilla Lim is an American-Korean actress, model, dancer as well as a certified bartender. Kim rose to popularity in 2011, when she bagged the crown of Miss Korea USA. She traces her roots to Seoul, South Korea. As a child, she developed a love for the arts. Lim is a highly talented individual, because aside from enhancing her cultural flavor with early training in piano, Korean traditional flute, and drum lessons, she also engaged in athletics through trainings in ice skating, Tae Kwon Do, skiing, swimming and track, which developed her physical stamina and endurance.
Camilla Lim’s skills in dancing and acting are by-products of her impressive certifications and degrees obtained from several academies and institutions. She studied Scene Study from the prestigious Ivana Chubbuck institution, while learning Meisner and Audition Technique from EMAS Acting Studio and Brian Reise Acting Studio, respectively. All located within West Hollywood, Lim also studied On Camera Cold Reading from Margie Habor and Improv from the UCB Theater.
Camilla Lim’s breakthrough in acting was actually a result of a knee injury sustained as a competitive ballroom dancer. As she was recovering and rehabilitating from her injury, Lim realized that acting would be her best expression of her undeniable love for the arts. When she fully recovered from her injury, she pursued her acting career. After successfully being cast in numerous acting stints back home in South Korea, Lim decided to move to Hollywood, the world’s center of entertainment.
Camilla Lim was cast in the hilarious 2014 sitcom Horrible Bosses 2, playing the role of a sex addiction group member. The film is a sequel to the 2011 comedy hit, released in November of 2014 to a slew of mixed reviews earning over $100 Million worldwide, but failing to match its first installment’s gross of over $200 Million. It also stars Jason Bateman, Charlie Day, Jason Sudeikis and Jennifer Aniston.
